Scottish Music in Scania
The Griffin Pipes & Drums is a non-profit association with the purpose of playing the Great Highland Bagpipes according to Scottish military traditions.
The band formed in the early 70's, has during its over 50-year tenure performed in various locations in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, England, and of course, Scotland.
The pipe band is fully kitted with a No. 1 Highland Dress in the Black Stewart tartan.
The Griffin Pipes & Drums can be engaged in numerous occasions. We play as soloists, duos, trios, quintets, and indeed even the whole band.

International Engagements
Our music does not stay in Scania. Our members have a yearly schedule of international engagements to develop the band's musical capabilities. Among these, we find Berlin Military Tatto, and indeed, the renowned Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
Some of us are also members of the Crossed Swords Pipes & Drums. By playing in a band with a British military leadership, we are able to gain new and refined skills to bring home to Scania, in order to perform according to Scottish and military traditions.
